How do I know that
I will be getting a professional entertainer?
We pride ourselves
in only providing professional entertainers.
As you will notice from the pictures in our website, the
comments on the testimonials page, and the list of our
past clients we have developed a network of entertainers
who have provided a high standard of entertainment and
have had a consistently professional approach to their
performances.
Our entertainers are members of
their professional organisations. For instance, all our
stilt walkers are members of Equity, all our magicians
are members of the Magic Circle or other professional
magic organisation and all our face painters are members
of the professional face painters association.
If you require more details about
a specific act you are booking we are happy to oblige.
What will an entertainer
cost?
We do not list our fees on the website
because there are a number of factors that affect our
quote (please see the home page here
for more details).
We are happy to discuss fees by phone or e-mail once we
know your entertainment requirements.
How do I book an
entertainer?
It is very easy to book one of our entertainers.
After discussing exactly what entertainment you want for
your event we will confirm the availability and the cost.
You can then confirm that you would like to book our entertainer/s
by completing one our our booking forms and return it
to us by fax, email or post. Our booking forms also contain
our terms of business which we always advise you read
carefully before returning the completed form.
Do you have insurance?
All our entertainers carry a minimum
of £2 million public liability insurance for the
type of work they do.
Most circus entertainers are members of Equity and are
covered by this organisations £10 million cover.
If need be insurance can be extended for specific circumstances.
While all our entertainers have extensive
public liability cover they must also act with care and
caution in their performances. Certain acts are dangerous
and proper safety precautions must be observed by the
organisers, and the public.
Our entertainers reserve the right to
alter or even stop their performance if they deem that
the circumstances of the performance poses a risk to members
of the audience or general public.
Such circumstances include (but are not limited to):
Bad weather, poor crowd control, dangerous behaviour by
members of the public, and unacceptable performance area.
Do you charge for
travel costs?
When we quote a fee we will make it clear
whether travel costs are included or whether they are
to be added on to the fee.
For work local to the entertainer travel costs are usually
absorbed into the fee and therefore no travel costs are
charged.
Some bookings may require additional
costs such as accommodation costs, parking costs, congestion
charge costs, bespoke costume costs, extra insurance costs
or other costs that will be clearly specified prior to
booking.
What if I have
to cancel the event?
If you book one of our entertainers we
do not accept cancellation of that booking (except in
cases of fore majeure).
In all cases of cancellation we
charge a cancellation fee (unless at our discretion we
waive this). The amount of the cancellation fee depends
when the cancellation is made.
Many cancellation situations arise because
of bad weather. We always advise event organisers to take
out insurance to cover these possibilities.
What if my event
is affected by bad weather?
Although all our
entertainers will do their best under adverse weather
conditions to continue to perform the entertainment they
have been booked to do, they cannot be expected to continue
in unreasonable adverse weather.
We encourage all outdoor events
to get bad weather insurance. Entertainment stopped by
bad weather will be invoiced at the quoted fee as long
as the entertainer has arrived, is ready to entertain
and/or has made all reasonable efforts in the circumstances
to fulfil the contract.
Will you provide
all the entertainers for a large event
and manage those entertainers so I don't have to?
Yes our nation-wide network of entertainers
enables us to provide packages of entertainment for any
size of event. And because of our experience we know how
best to manage those entertainers to create the greatest
impact at the event. We can therefore provide for example
- ten entertainers for a summer ball or 100+ entertainers
for a major promotional event.
Do you provide
entertainers for children's parties?
Yes we do! We provide clowns, face painters,
circus workshop tutors, jugglers, magicians, Punch &
Judy shows and many other entertainers for children's
parties. At busy periods (peak summer month weekends &
Christmas lead up weekends) our entertainers are often
heavily booked, therefore it is advisable to book early.
Please note that as an agency
our charges are likely to be more than any direct quote
from a local entertainer. If your event is small scale
then it is probably best to contact someone from the local
Yellow Pages first. We are always happy to try to help.
Can you send me
your promotional publicity?
We provide extensive information about
ourselves, the services we provide and other information
in this website, therefore we do not normally send out
promotional leaflets (this helps to keep costs down and
websites can be updated far more easily than leaflets).
