Acrobats can perform a variety
of styles of acrobatics
Adagio Acrobatics - Graceful balances
performed by two or more performers
Tumbling - Various skills including somersaults,
flick-flacks, and jumps
Hand balancing - Various balances on the acrobats
hands. Can be on a special table or rig
Contortion - 'extreme' bending of the body into
a variety of poses
Aerial Acrobatics - trapeze, silks, hoop are all
aerial acrobatic forms.

Acrobatics can be combined with
other circus skills such as juggling and human statue
performance.
Performances can be:
Show - set piece shows often performed
to music
Walkabout - wandering performance with short set
pieces
Ambient - static performance which is not a set
show
